VUB is one program under the U.S. Office of Education's TRIO programs designed to prepare and encourage access and participation in postsecondary education among low income and first generation college students. All services are provided FREE , and there is no cost associated with our classes other than parking. |

include, but are not limited to, workshops on Resumes, Interviews,
Applications, Win Way Resume Program Training, O*NET Interest Profiler
training, O*NET Work Importance Locator Training, Successful Job
Hunting, and others. These informative workshops will lead
you through the job seeking process, assisting you in choosing occupations,
the job outlook to 2008, how to show you are qualified for the job,
creating resumes and applications, marketing yourself, creating good
impressions, acing the interview, follow-ups after the interview
and job hunting blunders. These workshops
are given periodically as needed and can be found on the Calendar
of Events. |
